The Delian Oracle

A 72-card oracle deck based on the gods, goddesses, mortals, and monsters of Greek Mythology. Sealed in a custom-made magnetic box with a little white guide book. 
The images for the cards were created to align with the aesthetics of The Odyssean Tarot. While a few characters who make a brief appearance in that Tarot deck are featured more prominently in The Delian Oracle, no images are repeated, designed as the deck is to embellish rather than rehash. All the illustrations for The Delian Oracle were made from original drawings, sketches, and simple colour-guide paintings created to later elaborate and enhance through a lapidary collage technique developed by Welkin over the last decade using Photoshop.
The cards are 3.5" x 5", of durable S30 card stock, and housed in a custom-made matte and laminated magnetic box. The accompanying booklet is 72 pages, each page dedicated to a card, briefly supplying context, and providing a simplified Upright (↑) and Reversed (↓) summation of the card's meaning.
